Pop up Lekker Bezig at Werkse!

Tuesday morning 23 April was the grand opening of Pop up Lekker Bezig at Werkse! The pop up is a stall where people can see what Lekker Bezig can do for them. Making beautiful things in the sewing atelier of Stichting Stunt, taking care of animals at Hoeve Biesland, cooking at the catering of Firma van Buiten: these are just some of the possibilities.

At Lekker Bezig, people find a place to participate in Delft society while they get used to work, meet new people and improve their Dutch, for example. In the pop-up you can read the inspiring stories of people who have already been helped and see where you can get started as a candidate.

Lekker Bezig is a cooperation of the Delft organisations DOEL, Stichting Stunt and Firma van Buiten. Werkse! consultants refer people to Lekker Bezig. During the opening ceremony, the organisations told about Lekker Bezig and we heard great success stories. Alderman Maaike Zwart was also present and spoke. Moreover, there was plenty of room to talk to each other. In short, it was a successful opening.
