Everyone matters, and has more opportunities due to work and personal development. That is Werkse!’s vision. We believe that everyone has talent and that the world would be a better place if we allow people to express those talents. We help residents of Delft who are on benefits to move forward in their personal development and to find work. That is what we have been doing, every day, for more than 95 years.

Together we make the difference
Werkse! is strong in work and together with our partners we are even stronger. In Delft , we have an important mission together: reducing poverty and improving the health and well-being of residents.

Municipality of Delft and regional municipalitie
We have a lot of contact with the municipality of Delft, where people apply for benefits under the Particpation Act (assistance). To help people find work, the municipality refers everyone to Werkse! Werkse! alsoworks together with the municipalities of Midden-Delfland, Rijswijk, Lansingerland and Pijnacker-Nootdorp .

UWV
Residents can apply to the UWV for Unemployment Act benefits (WW) if they are in danger of losing their jobs. UWV and Werkse! work together to help everyone find and keep work, ensuring that people do not end up in the Participation Act. Furthermore, people with an occupational disability can apply to the UWV for an indication.

Social partners
There are often several organisations that offer support to residents who come toWerkse! . Werkse! helps people progress towards work. For the other topics, such as education, finance, housing, welfare, care and day care, we cooperate with social partners.

Re-integration companies
To help more people find work, Werkse! works together with local reintegration companiesmuch. Such asPerspektief,Stichting Stunt,GGZ Doel, Firma van BuitenandHoeve Biesland. The latter four also work together locally under the nameLekker Bezig.

Werkwaardig
Werkwaardig is the employer network in Delft/Rijswijk and surroundings that is committed to an inclusive labour market and corporate social responsibility.Everything revolves around people. Werkwaardig brings enthusiastic people together with meetings where knowledge, inspiration and fun are central. And goes for a labour market where there is room for everyone.

Zorghub
Zorghub offers people on welfare benefits paid jobs within care organisations. The employees perform support tasks, allowing care professionals to focus on care tasks. Zorghub was founded by Werkse! and has been operating at a number of organisations since 2021: Pieter van Foreest, Perspektief Foundation and Ipse de Bruggen.On 1 January 2024, Zorghub became an independent organisation.

2023 was a special year for Werkse! We celebrated our 95th anniversary in many ways. From a cake for all employees to the ‘Festival for Inclusion’ and the Open Day. Thank you to all partners, colleagues and stakeholders who made the anniversary year a success!
