Being an inclusive employer

There are all sorts of ways in which you can make the difference. Together, we assess the approach that best suits your organisation.

Inclusive organisations are more successful

Research has shown that inclusive organisations are more successful and, at the same time, their workers are happier. Werkse! is happy to assist in considering the steps which you can take to become an inclusive employer. That could cover many things. For instance, following a training course, offering a work experience position or outsourcing work.

How does it work?

We schedule a meeting and our account manager has a non-binding talk with you. We assess the opportunities your organisation has in terms of becoming an inclusive employer. After the meeting we will send you a proposal outlining the first actual step.

SROI

SROI (Social Return On Investment) is a government scheme to ensure there are more long-term positions available for people in a vulnerable situation on the labour market. This scheme also ensures there are more work experience and traineeship places, creating a better link between education and the labour market. Where the contract price exceeds € 221,000, clients for government services must invest a portion in social return. This can take various forms. The Werkse! consultants would be happy to talk to you about seeing which form best suits your organisation.

In which ways could you fulfil the SROI obligation?

  • Helping jobseekers to find a job or training place.
  • Outsourcing work to Werkse! or procuring work from a recognised social enterprise.
  • Offering training or traineeships for jobseekers.

The municipalities in the Haaglanden labour market region work together to make the procurement of SROI products and services as easy as possible for employers. The building block diagram shows you the options available and the amounts they represent.
